The publishing imprint.
Les Editions Arcan is the long-form arm of the house. It produces digital editions, monographs, and selected compilations drawn from the editorial archives of Escale Privée and Brief-S — texts that have earned the right to exist beyond their original publication.
Not everything we publish belongs in a periodical. Some writing requires a slower container.

Independence, at Arcan Schalier, is not a marketing position. It is an operational constraint.
We accept no sponsored content. We maintain no advertising relationships. We hold no affiliate obligations that would compromise the distance between our editorial voice and the subjects we examine. This applies equally to the hotels we write about and the markets we analyse.
